"I chose that title as a reference to Luke 9:23. The follower of Christ must take up his cross. The condemned criminal in Jesusí day would be forced to carry his cross (crossbeam) to the place of execution. There would be 'no turning back.' Therefore, for the true follower of Christ, there would be no turning back." ~Mark Talbert

Markís passion of teaching and preaching Godís Word is based upon a couple of truths found in the New Testament: 1) to equip the saints for the work of the ministry and to build up the body of Christ (Eph 4:12) and 2) to give everyone the chance to be exposed to the clear teaching of the Bible in order that they may have the opportunity to make their own personal decision regarding Christ (Rom 10:17).
